He also conducts and supervises foreign attorneys in IP litigation commenced in foreign courts and administrative agencies and has represented numerous clients in administrative judicial actions before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. His practice also focuses in trademark adoption, registration and protection for various transnational corporations. He has significant experience in trademark and copyright licensing and other intellectual property-related transactions. Mr. Blum was formerly an Assistant General Counsel to the Fortune 500 corporation United Merchants & Manufacturers Inc. He is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and is currently Co-Chair of the INTA's Leadership Meeting 2008 Project Team. He has also lectured on various trademark related topics. Mr. Blum was recently chosen by the Legal 500 United States for inclusion in the 2007 Intellectual Property Edition for his work in trademark litigation.
