Biography Scott Shelley specializes in representing hedge funds, financial institutions, distressed companies, creditors’ committees and other parties in chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. He has extensive experience in a broad range of bankruptcy disciplines, including debtor in possession financing and use of cash collateral, distressed asset sales, chapter 11 plan formulation, bankruptcy litigation and cross-border insolvencies. Scott also has significant experience analyzing complex transaction structures and advising clients regarding bankruptcy risks, as well as advising clients with respect to corporate governance matters and fiduciary duties.
