Biography
Marc Weinstein has worked as an intellectual property attorney for over ten years with more than five years experience in Japan. He focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation and licensing, with an emphasis in the areas of computers and electronics.
Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Marc was a senior associate for an international law firm in its Tokyo office focusing on all aspects of intellectual property, including litigation, licensing, opinions, and patent procurement. Earlier, Marc was a senior counsel for another international law firm, working in its Washington, D.C. office and opening the firm’s Tokyo office as its first Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi in Japan.
Prior to that experience, Marc was a student associate for a Washington, D.C.-based international intellectual property law firm. Marc has also worked as a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Arlington, Virginia, examining in the area of I/O processing and multicomputer architectures.
