Biography
Corey Worcester is Of Counsel in the New York office. He is experienced in class actions, multidistrict litigations and other complex commercial matters, including arbitrations, mediations and regulatory proceedings. He has represented clients in several prominent commercial disputes and at all stages of litigation—from pre-suit to post-trial and appeal. Mr. Worcester has represented corporations, officers and directors, financial institutions, “Big Four” accounting firms and other clients in securities and ERISA class actions, derivative actions, patent and trademark actions, antitrust litigation, contract disputes and other matters in federal and state courts. Additionally, he has represented clients in connection with proceedings before the Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Trade Commission, US International Trade Commission (ITC) under Section 337 and other agencies and regulatory bodies. Represented Nestlé S.A. and individual defendants in state and federal court actions related to the $38.5 billion sale of Nestlé S.A.'s interest in Alcon, Inc. to Novartis AG.
Represented an accounting firm in litigation related to Bernard Madoff.
Represented Qualcomm, Inc. in multiple disputes with a global telecommunications company, including arbitration, an ITC investigation and a contract dispute in Delaware Chancery court.
Represented Qualcomm, Inc. in multiple disputes with Broadcom, including patent and antitrust disputes.
Represented Dooney & Bourke, Inc. in trademark infringement and dilution actions against Louis Vuitton Malletier.
Represented Tyco Inc. in consolidated securities, ERISA and derivative actions arising out of the actions of its former officers.
Represented a financial institution in a consolidated securities class action arising out of allegations that the institution failed to properly disclose the fees that it charged investors for mutual funds.
Represented TyCom Ltd. in a consolidated derivative action arising out of alleged misstatements regarding the state of TyCom's telecommunications business.
