We defended RealNetworks in an internet software patent case brought by Ethos Technologies in Boston . We were hired as trial counsel after the close of fact discovery. After a 20-day trial, the jury found seven of the ten claims asserted against RealNetworks invalid, and all ten asserted claims not infringed, defeating a damages claim of over $200 million.  Jury verdicts of invalidity in such cases are very rare.
