Longtime-client IBM retained us to defend it in a patent infringement suit over UDDI-compliant products that implicated numerous key IBM products and sought several million dollars in damages. After we persuaded the court to stay burdensome discovery until the patent claims were construed, the court adopted our proposed construction and granted summary judgment of non-infringement and invalidity to IBM.
