We convinced the Ninth Circuit to adopt a broad view of the federal statutory immunity for interactive computer services that make the postings of users available on the Internet. In affirming summary judgment for our client Lycos, the court issued a frequently cited decision that extends protection to a vast array of web-based services, even where the services edit and manipulate third-party content.
