New York Housing Authority

One of our partners represented the New York Housing Authority in a $15O million arbitration over alleged design and construction defects and delays in the building of seven huge multi-level garages located in Co-Op City in the Bronx, New York, in the 1960s. This was a politically charged, two-month long arbitration after which the panel rejected the owner's primary claims, saving the State approximately $1OO million.
