Gregg Badichek is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Washington, D.C. office. He joined the firm in 2020. His practice focuses primarily on international arbitration, including investor-state and commercial disputes, enforcement of foreign and domestic arbitral awards and judgments, and cross-border complex commercial litigation. His cases frequently involve sovereigns and state-owned entities. He also advises clients on regulatory matters concerning international sanctions and cryptocurrencies. Before joining the firm, he clerked for the Honorable Norman Stahl of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and prior to that, for the Honorable Timothy Stanceu and the Honorable Gary Katzmann, both of the United States Court of International Trade. While in law school, he interned with the United Nations Development Programme in the Republic of Maldives, with the Permanent Mission of Marshall Islands to the United Nations, and with the United States Environmental Protection Agency. He was also a member of the Columbia Law School Environmental Law Clinic.
He is licensed to practice in Washington, D.C., New York, and Massachusetts.
