Caleb Braley is an Associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Silicon Valley office. He joined the firm in 2016. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation. He is experienced in the diverse phases of civil litigation, including pre-suit investigations, motion practice, fact and expert discovery, trial preparation, and trial, having litigated patent matters in the Federal Courts of California, Texas, and Delaware. He has represented clients in patent cases concerning telecommunications, software, hardware, medical devices, and biotechnology. In the process he has obtained significant experience in the rapidly evolving areas of patent damages and design patent litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Caleb attended UC Berkeley School of Law, where he served as an editor on the California Law Review and participated in the Samuelson Law, Technology, and Public Policy Clinic. He also worked in an advisory capacity at the European Commission, where he conducted research and briefed legislators on technology policy issues raised by data protection law reform in the European Union.
