Olivier Buff

Olivier Buff is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Zurich office. His practice focuses on complex, high-stakes litigations, arbitrations and criminal and regulatory investigations, on behalf of companies and individuals, frequently involving multiple jurisdictions. Olivier’s particular interest is in the banking and insurance industry as well as in white-collar crime investigations.

Before joining Quinn Emanuel, Olivier gained experience at two other leading business law firms in Zurich in their banking, insurance and M&A practice teams. He worked as a deputy law clerk at the commercial as well as the criminal court of the high courts of the canton of Aargau. During his studies he worked as in-house counsel for a major international insurance and a major Swiss bank. Olivier holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Law and Economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
