Cory Edwards is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Chicago office. His practice focuses on complex intellectual property litigation. He has represented both large and small clients in federal court litigations. In addition, Cory has assisted large technology companies and universities in patent portfolio management, including assisting with drafting and prosecuting patents, and conducting reviews of external patent portfolios for client-acquisition, with a focus in the electrical, mechanical, and computer arts. He also has experience in trademark, commercial, and general litigations. Cory is a registered Patent Attorney and has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana (UIUC). Prior to attending law school, Cory gained industry experience as a product development engineer at one of the world’s largest automobile companies.
