Raphael Ginsburg is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Chicago office whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.
Raphael’s experience includes working on significant matters including contract, trade secrets, fiduciary duty, copyright, and trademark disputes, with additional expertise in consumer class actions. Raphael has represented clients in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, medical devices, real estate, healthcare, automobile, and alcoholic beverages. He has a wide range of litigation experience in both federal and state court, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, working with expert and fact witnesses, and managing complex electronic discovery.
Raphael maintains an active pro bono practice, having contributed over 1,100 hours of pro bono service during his time at Quinn. In 2023, Raphael was appointed a special assistant attorney general to assist the State of Colorado in prosecuting the officers and paramedics responsible for the killing of Elijah McClain, leading to multiple convictions.
Raphael spent ten years working as a sommelier in New York at several Michelin-starred restaurants before joining the legal profession.
