Ashley Hammett is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s London office, and a New York-qualified attorney.  Her practice focuses on investor-state disputes, commercial arbitration and complex litigation.  Ashley has acted on arbitrations conducted under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, LCIA and ICC Rules.  She also has experience in litigation and regulatory investigations across numerous jurisdictions and sectors. 

Prior to joining the firm, Ashley was an associate with the litigation and arbitration teams of a global law firm in New York and London.  While there, she worked on a range of high stakes international commercial disputes, as well as cases involving alleged violations of human rights law.  Ashley has also worked for the International Criminal Court in The Hague and in the Criminal Practice Division at Legal Aid in Australia.

In 2016, Ashley received her Juris Doctor (cum laude) and Master of Laws from Washington University in St. Louis, where she worked as a research assistant in international law.  She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (French) from the University of Queensland, Australia.
