Dr. Anna-Katharina Hübler is a German qualified attorney (Rechtsanwältin) and Associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Mannheim office since 2017.

Her legal practice focuses on national and cross-border commercial and IP litigation, with a particular emphasis on patent and utility model litigation (both, offense and defense side). Anna-Katharina represents clients before the German patent infringement courts at trial and appellate level, in opposition proceedings at the European Patent Office (including opposition appeal proceedings), in nullity actions before the German Federal Patent Court and the Federal Supreme Court and before the German Patent and Trademark Office (especially cancellation proceedings).

Her expertise covers all aspects of complex patent litigation over a broad range of technologies, including IT (hardware and software), automotive, telecommunication, electronic engineering (including semiconductors), mechanical engineering and medical devices. Furthermore, she has specific experience regarding preliminary injunctions.

Anna-Katharina graduated as Valedictorian from the University of Heidelberg in 2012. Subsequently she was a research assistant in the Private Client practice group of a German law firm and the public international law department of the University of Freiburg (Prof. Dr. Silja Voeneky), where she obtained her doctorate degree in public international law (disaster relief). In 2017, Anna-Katharina completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court Karlsruhe, with stages inter alia at Quinn Emanuel and a German law firm with focus on gaming and betting law.
