David Lakin is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Chicago office. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. He also has experience representing clients in connection with investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice and state Attorney Generals’ Offices.
David has represented clients in a variety of disputes involving breach of contract, trade secrets, civil RICO, class actions, and fraud. He has a wide range of trial experience in federal and state court as well as arbitration.
Prior to joining the firm in 2017, David represented clients in the Bluhm Legal Clinic’s Center on Wrongful Convictions. Before law school, David taught history in Detroit as a member of Teach For America.
