Su Moon is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Hong Kong office. She joined the firm in 2018. Her practice focuses on international commercial arbitration and cross-border litigation. Her experience includes cases involving breaches of contracts, breaches of fiduciary duties, shareholder disputes, M&A, private equity, and energy/construction.
Su’s arbitration experiences range from USD 2+ billion post-M&A disputes to multiple emergency arbitrations. All of her cases involved parties from different jurisdictions, and Su has experience in conducting discovery and preparing witnesses in both Korean and English.
Su also recently acted in expedited litigation in the Delaware Chancery Court for breach of contract. This was one of the first Covid-19 related “busted deal” cases and concerned the $5.8 billion acquisition of a portfolio of 15 high-end US hotels from the state-controlled Chinese insurer.
