Jared Ruocco is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. He joined the firm in 2014. Jared has experience litigating a wide range of complex commercial disputes on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants. His experience includes cases involving breach of contract claims; business torts; breach of fiduciary duty claims; fraud claims; corporate governance and shareholder disputes; M&A, private equity, and project finance transactions, and employment disputes. He has represented clients in the financial, commercial real estate, energy, pharmaceutical, chemical, healthcare, and consumer products industries. He has appeared in a variety of forums, including state and federal courts and arbitrations.
Jared is also a Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School where he teaches a course in Legal Practice, which focuses on litigation and courtroom advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm, Jared was a legal intern to the Hon. Naomi Reice Buchwald, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
