Kaitlin Sheehan is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Chicago Office whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel in 2018, Kaitlin was an associate at another international law firm.
Kaitlin’s experience includes working on significant matters involving contract disputes, antitrust, tax controversies, FLSA and ERISA litigation, and trusts and estates controversies. Kaitlin has represented clients in a variety of industries, including health care, manufacturing, alcohol beverage, and finance. She has a wide range of litigation experience in both federal and state court, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, working with expert and fact witnesses, and managing complex electronic discovery and document production.
Kaitlin also maintains an active pro bono practice, including assisting families involved in the Illinois child welfare system, helping immigrants obtain asylum, and representing a wrongfully convicted individual in a post-conviction actual innocence case in criminal court. In 2016, Kaitlin received the award for excellence in pro bono service given by the Judges of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
