Maple Zhang is a foreign legal consultant in Quinn Emanuel’s Shanghai office. She joined the firm in 2021. Her practice focuses on cross-border litigation and arbitration, investigations, and corporate compliance matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Maple worked with a leading Chinese law firm in Shanghai, where she served as trial counsel in financial and commercial litigation and arbitration for clients including fund management companies, technology companies, and real estate developers. She also handled internal investigations involving bribery, embezzlement, and self-dealing. In addition, she provided compliance advice regarding data privacy, microfinance, insider trading, environmental matters, etc.

Maple received legal education in both China and the U.S. She is licensed in the People’s Republic of China (inactive) and the State of New York.
