Paul D. Evans has joined the firm as a partner based in the new Perth office. Paul was previously the State Solicitor for Western Australia, a position he held for five years in which he was responsible for the Government of Australia’s civil and regulatory legal practice. Prior to working in the government, Paul was a partner at Freehills (now Herbert Smith Freehills). He has over 30 years of experience litigating complex disputes of all kinds. In 2007, Paul was appointed an Adjunct Professor of Law at Murdoch University Law School where he has taught corporations law and corporate governance and is a frequent speaker at seminars on contract, corporations, and competition law issues.
