Quinn Emanuel attorneys Stephen Mavroghenis and Christina Kolotourou have contributed to the 3rd Edition of GCR's Digital Marketing & Competition Enforcement Guide

Quinn Emanuel Partner Stephen Mavroghenis and Associate Christina Kolotourou from our Brussels office have contributed the chapter on “European Union: Impact of New Competition Regime on the Digital Single Market” in the 3rd Edition of Global Competition Review's Digital Marketing & Competition Enforcement Guide.
In their chapter, Stephen and Christina provide a comprehensive overview of this area of EU law, including:
  1. Analysing the current state of the law and summarising the latest decisional practice concerning (1) online sales restrictions and third-party platform bans, (2) dual pricing in online sales and (3) resale price maintenance (RPM) in online sales;
  2. Providing an overview of the changes brought forward by the revised Vertical Block Exemption Regulation (the new VBER), the accompanying revised Guidelines on Vertical Restraints (the new Vertical Guidelines) and the Digital Markets Act (DMA); and
  3. Unbundling the key provisions of the Geo-Blocking Regulation while reconciling the relevant case law.
