Emily Couture is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Austin office, where her practice centers on complex commercial litigation with a particular emphasis on securities fraud matters. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts, guiding matters through all phases of litigation, including initiating pre-complaint investigations, leading both offensive and defensive discovery efforts, drafting and arguing motions, and following through with trial. Emily excels at developing comprehensive case strategies and executing on them.
Emily joined the firm in 2021 after graduating from the University of Texas School of Law, as a member of the Chancellor Society. While in law school, she worked on the Supreme Court clinic and was a Teaching Quizmaster.
