Hannah Barbosa Cesnik is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. She joined the firm in 2022. She is part of the firm’s Art Litigation and Disputes practice area, where she focuses on, among other matters, contract, copyright and trademark issues, concerns of fair use, fraud, and forgery, as well as ownership and provenance disputes in the world of art and antiquities.
Hannah’s writing on art and cultural heritage has appeared in places like Slate and The American Scholar. Prior to joining the firm, Hannah attended Yale Law School where she served as chief speechwriter for the Dean and worked directly with journalists and documentary filmmakers for Yale’s Media and Freedom of Information Act Clinic. She also has experience in divorce and custody matters from her previous position as a law clerk for a family law practice in Michigan.
