Amy Frieder is an associate attorney in Quinn Emanuel’s Chicago office. She joined the firm in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, Amy served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable R. Brooke Jackson on the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. She began her legal career as a fellow at a national civil rights law firm, specializing in employment matters.
Amy is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was editor-in-chief of the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and a research assistant for a United Nations official affiliated with Harvard’s International Human Rights Program. She also interned with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Voting Rights Section and was involved in pro bono voter protection work with several nonprofit organizations. Prior to law school, Amy served in the U.S. Air Force as an intelligence analyst and volunteer victim advocate.
