Radu Giosan is an associate in the international arbitration practice of Quinn Emanuel’s London office. He has experience with multi-jurisdictional, complex and high-value disputes involving high net worth individuals, major corporations, states and state entities. His practice is focused on commercial and investment arbitration disputes in the energy sector, and in particular those involving the oil & gas industry. Notably, in recent years he has successfully represented companies in price review arbitrations under long-term gas supply contracts.
Moreover, his experience extends to construction disputes related to energy projects, joint-ventures, and arbitrations involving telecommunications and finance. Overall, his experience covers arbitrations conducted under the rules of the major arbitration centers (ICSID, ICC, LCIA, VIAC, SCAI, SIAC, and UNCITRAL).
Beyond this, Radu has written on various topics related to ethics, artificial intelligence in international arbitration and updates to arbitral institution rules. He is also a regular participant of the Willem C. Vis Moot advocacy moot, having both competed and coached at the competition. Radu trained at international arbitration firms in London, Paris and Milan prior to joining Quinn Emanuel.
