Jeffrey Jacobsen is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. He joined the firm in 2026. Jeffrey focuses his practice on patent, trade secret, and copyright litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Jeffrey was a clerk for (then-Chief) Judge Rodney Gilstrap of the Eastern District of Texas, where he saw nearly a dozen trials—all of them involving at least one claim of patent infringement. He has also worked for another large law firm in their IP litigation department. Jeffrey is experienced in all phases of litigation—from pre-filing through post-trial—and is an adept writer and oral advocate.
