Dr. Stephan Klebes is a German-qualified attorney (Rechtsanwalt) working in Quinn Emanuel’s Hamburg office.
Stephan specializes in German and international commercial arbitration. He advises and represents clients in arbitration proceedings, as well as before German state courts at both trial and appellate level with a particular focus on cross-border disputes.
Stephan joined the firm in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, he studied law at the University of Mannheim, Germany where he specialized in International Commercial Law and obtained his Master of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. In 2020, he completed his legal clerkship at the Celle Court of Appeals, which included stages at Quinn Emanuel’s Hamburg Office and a boutique arbitration law firm. Stephan obtained a doctorate in arbitration and international procedural law from the University of Osnabrück.
Stephan is a member of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS).
