Vanessa Lo

Vanessa Lo is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s London office. Her practice focuses on international arbitration and commercial litigation. She joined the firm in 2025.

Before joining Quinn Emanuel, Vanessa trained and practised at a leading international law firm in both its London and Hong Kong offices, where she represented multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals in complex cross-border disputes across Europe and Asia. She also served as a judicial clerk at the High Court and District Court of Hong Kong.

Vanessa holds legal degrees from the University of Hong Kong, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Cambridge, each awarded with First Class Honours. While at the University of Pennsylvania, she pursued additional business studies at the Wharton School of Business. She was also a visiting student at Yale University and Tsinghua University.

Vanessa is admitted to practice in New York, Hong Kong, and England & Wales. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Vanessa currently serves on the Executive Committee of the London Very Young Arbitration Practitioners (VYAP) group, part of Global VYAP, an international organization connecting over 22 national chapters to promote the practice of arbitration.
