Anahita Mousavi is a German attorney (Rechtsanwältin) as well as a solicitor in England and Wales. She joined Quinn Emanuel’s Stuttgart office in 2021. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and IP-litigation, with an emphasis on cross-border disputes.

Since joining the firm, Anahita has gained substantial experience advising clients from various industries before courts in multiple jurisdictions. Amongst other things, she has represented clients in disputes before German first- and second-instance courts, the Federal Patent Court, the Federal Court of Justice, and the Unified Patent Court. She also advised clients in the context of proceedings before the High Court in London relating to the potential mis-selling of FX derivatives and a significant ESG-related group litigation. She has conducted and managed large-scale disclosure exercises. Furthermore, she regularly advises clients on GDPR compliance issues in multi-jurisdictional or foreign disputes.

Anahita graduated from the University of Heidelberg in 2017. She completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart in 2021. In 2023, she qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales.

Anahita is a member of the DIS40 (German initiative of young arbitration practitioners), the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
