Ikenna Nwankwo is an associate in Quinn Emanuel's New York office. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ikenna served as a Law Clerk at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, where he conducted legal research and supported high-profile litigation. He also worked as a Law Clerk at the Federal Public Defender of Oregon, researching complex criminal law issues and drafting critical legal documents for federal appeals.
Before his legal career, Ikenna had an extensive professional basketball career spanning 15 years across multiple professional leagues in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He competed in numerous countries including Turkey, Portugal, Russia, and Greece, as well as in several professional leagues in the United States. Notably, Ikenna represented the Nigerian National Basketball Team at the FIBA World Championships in Tokyo (2006) and Alexandria.
Following his athletic career, Ikenna founded and directed Top Flight Basketball Co. Ltd. across Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore, where he managed operations and negotiated contracts with international schools. He also served as Director of Basketball Operations for Jr. NBA Thailand.
