Douglas Post serves in the unique position of "Trial Strategist." In that role, Mr. Post assists the firm's lawyers in preparing cases for trial. By identifying important nuances, compelling themes and persuasive arguments, Mr. Post helps develop creative solutions to the particular problems of each case. Mr. Post's involvement with a case can start early in the litigation with the development of a trial theme--a compelling view of the case to be conveyed in the opening statement and reinforced throughout the trial. Later in the process, Mr. Post helps cull, prioritize and refine the evidence to isolate those facts that will matter most to the jury-facts that might not be similarly striking to a lawyer who has worked on a case for years. Mr. Post has demonstrated a remarkable ability to anticipate juror predispositions and reactions based, in part, on information obtained through the firm's pre-trial use of mock juries. Mr. Post also makes significant contributions by preparing witnesses and creating demonstrative exhibits.
