CHARITABLE GIVING

Supporting meaningful causes around the world

Quinn Emanuel has a longstanding commitment to supporting meaningful causes through The QE Foundation, as well as independent firm and partner donations.

The QE Foundation is a cornerstone of the firm’s philanthropic and corporate social responsibility efforts, distributing millions of dollars annually to charitable, educational, and law-related organizations. Last year, the Foundation awarded nearly $1.97 million across more than 100 donations, supporting a diverse set of causes spanning health, legal aid, social justice, and community development. So far this year, QEF has already provided over $1 million in funding across more than 60 donations, reflecting its continued commitment to strengthening communities and advancing access to justice. These contributions demonstrate a sustained and strategic approach to supporting organizations that improve lives and broaden opportunities.

Food, Clothing & Holiday Gift Drives

For many years Quinn Emanuel has participated in food, clothing, and gift drives that serve the less fortunate.

The firm contributes annually to the Los Angeles Food Bank’s “Food from the Bar” campaign by collecting food, volunteering time, and donating funds toward Food Bank operations. The most recent food drive yielded an extraordinary 1.9 million meals for hungry families throughout Los Angeles County.

For the past eleven years, the San Francisco office has participated in an annual holiday toy drive in support of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (Stanford) to support the Recreational Therapy Fun Fund, which helps provide toys, activities, and meaningful experiences for hospitalized children in the hospital’s care throughout the year.

The Washington, D.C. office collaborates with Bread for the City, a nonprofit legal services organization that provides food, clothing, healthcare, legal assistance, and social services to low-income D.C. residents.

The Los Angeles office hosts an annual “Holiday Wish Tree” to support Five Acres, a nonprofit organization devoted to child abuse prevention, treatment, and education.

The New York office hosts a month-long donation drive in December in which clothing, shoes, school supplies, books, toys, and housewares are collected and contributed to the local Salvation Army chapter.

For many years our Hamburg office has donated to local children’s hospice Kinder-Hospiz Sternenbrücke, which provides end of life care for terminally ill children and young people, as well as support for their families.
