Quinn Emanuel donates €100k to “Aktion Deutschland hilft” to help families affected by floods tragedy
Mannheim – Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP announced today that its global partnership has donated €100,000 to “Aktion Deutschland hilft” to assist families affected by the terrible floods in many parts of Western Germany and surrounding areas.
The money, which will be donated by the Quinn Emanuel Foundation, was sponsored by more than 100 of the firm’s partners worldwide.
Quinn Emanuel Germany Managing Partner Dr. Marcus Grosch said, "The tragic events in Germany and other parts of Western Europe have deeply moved our staff and partners, both locally and globally. Our hearts go out to all affected by this terrible event and we hope this donation can assist in helping them rebuild their lives."
The Quinn Emanuel foundation was set up in 2004 and has since donated millions of dollars to a variety of causes including natural disaster relief, cancer research, veterans services, legal aid services, violence intervention, and education.
