Quinn Emanuel’s Washington, D.C.-based associate Julianne Jaquith was featured as a panelist at The George Washington University (GW) School of Law event, “Pursuing a Career in International Law: Insights and Input from Practicing Lawyers.” The panel was hosted by The International Law Society (“ILS”) and the International Arbitration Student Association (“SIAA”) of the GW Law School and the American Society of International Law (“ASIL”). This special lunch session included practicing lawyers in a wide variety of international law fields who shared their insight on necessary skills and experience students can obtain while still in law school, the kind of information that employers are looking for when reviewing applications for international law positions, and the current trends in the legal job market.
