Quinn Emanuel’s Washington, D.C.-based associate Sean Damon will be featured as a moderator and speaker on a panel at the 2019 Biennial District of Columbia Judicial and Bar “Children and the Law: Protecting the Future” Conference. This event will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. on Friday, April 12 from 8:00am – 8:00pm. Mr. Damon’s panel, titled “Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: The Future Computed,” will be held at the conference from 2:15pm – 4:00pm. Artificial intelligence is transforming society and the way we interact, yet, legal policies and regulations are not even close to catching up with current technology. This panel of experts will help the audience understand the benefits and risks of using artificial intelligence, as well as the legal and ethical implications that may arise, such safety issues, liability, data privacy, security, transparency, bias, ethics, and intellectual property.
