She emphasized that success begins at the contract stage, with careful alignment of commercial strategies, foresight on patent and trade secret protection, and dispute-resolution clauses built to withstand pressure. Drawing on her experience in billion-dollar cross-border licensing disputes, she showed how to spot early warning signs, how to manage those disputes effectively when they do arise, from coordinating global strategy across jurisdictions to safeguarding investor confidence and market reputation.
