On October 12, 2023, Quinn Emanuel co-hosted a conference on how Chinese companies can effectively manage their legal risks associated with trade secret protection in both China and the US, together with Chinese law firm, ZhongLun, and the intellectual property center at PKU law school.

Quinn Emanuel partners Mark Tung, Xiao Liu, and associate Yixuan Zhu participated in the event as speakers. Together with legal scholars and ZhongLun partners, they addressed pivotal issues surrounding trade secret litigation and investigation (administrative/criminal) in both China and the US. Counsels from various Chinese companies attended the conference, with an additional virtual audience exceeding an impressive 600 participants.
