Quinn Emanuel is delighted to announce that it has received the prestigious accolade of Mid-Size Company Turnaround/Transaction Team of the Year in the 2024 TMA Turnaround and Transaction of the Year Awards. This esteemed award is for the firm's pivotal role as lead counsel to Bittrex, Inc. and its affiliated entities in the matter of In re Bittrex, Inc., No. 23-10597 (Bankr. D. Del.).

Led by Partners Patty Tomasco and Susheel Kirpalani, the exceptional team at Quinn Emanuel acted as lead bankruptcy counsel for the Bittrex debtors, who were engaged in cryptocurrency exchange operations and filed for bankruptcy in 2023. Notably, the firm successfully negotiated and facilitated the first-ever DIP loan transacted and repaid in cryptocurrency, secured a settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission, resolved diverse regulatory concerns with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, along with other state agencies, and implemented a comprehensive plan ensuring full repayment to all creditors, covering 100% of their claims.
