Citgo Victory: Partners Andrew Rossman, Susheel Kirpalani, Matthew Scheck, and team secured a $6 billion win for Amber Energy (an Elliott Investment Management affiliate) in a highly contentious court-run auction for Venezuela's shares of Citgo Petroleum. Despite a competing bid that was ostensibly higher, the court agreed with our argument that Amber's offer – which included a $2.125 billion bondholder settlement – provided greater certainty to close and was the superior bid. The team also includes Partner Owen Roberts and Associates Neil Phillips, Jonathan Acevedo, and Emma McCabe.

BYJU's Alpha Judgment: Partner Benjamin Finestone and Of Counsel Kate Scherling secured an approximate $1 billion judgment against BYJU's Alpha’s founder Byju Raveendran. The court called the circumstances "unique and unlike anything" it had encountered before, holding Raveendran liable in litigation seeking to recover missing loan proceeds.
