Quinn Emanuel Files Lawsuit on Behalf of 12 Plaintiffs Affected by Pacific Palisades Wildfire

Quinn Emanuel has filed a lawsuit on behalf of 12 plaintiffs—seniors ranging in age from 70 to more than 90 years old and their families—who lost their homes in January’s devastating Los Angeles wildfire in the Pacific Palisades. The Firm’s clients include a 93-year-old Holocaust survivor and a former U.S. Navy pilot undergoing cancer treatment. As reported in the Los Angeles Times, the firm has filed a complaint alleging the city, including the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, made a conscious decision not to repair critical infrastructure, including two empty reservoirs and over 1,000 hydrants -- 24 of them in the Palisades area.
