Jordan Alexander is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Los Angeles office and has been with the firm since 2014. Jordan has represented clients in high-stakes matters at all stages of litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. She has litigated cases spanning a diverse range of disputes, including complex commercial litigation, securities, class actions, financial fraud, intellectual property disputes including copyright and trade secrets, and personal injury.
Jordan has been involved in every stage of litigation, from pleadings through post-trial briefing and appeal. At a recent trial in California Superior Court, she took the direct examination of defendant’s damages expert, argued multiple motions, and played a key role in every aspect of the trial presentation. She has taken and defended depositions, prepared witnesses for deposition, worked extensively with experts, and has drafted and argued a variety of motions, including dispositive motions, discovery disputes, and motions in limine.
In law school, Jordan worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California’s Criminal Division, and as an intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York’s Civil Division through NYU School of Law’s Civil Litigation Clinic.
Before moving to Los Angeles in 2015, Jordan was an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. She is a member of the bars of both New York and California, as well as the bars of several federal courts.
