Jenny Braun

Jenny Braun is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. Her practice focuses on government-related litigation, criminal matters, and corporate disputes. She has represented both government entities and private parties in civil enforcement matters and litigation involving federal and state authorities, including state Attorneys General.  She also has experience defending criminal matters, including securities, accounting, and tax fraud investigations and prosecutions, and she has prepared briefs for appeals and post-conviction proceedings in federal and state courts of appeal.

Jenny’s corporate disputes experience includes matters involving mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, breaches of fiduciary duty, and allegations of fraud.  She has been on successful trial teams in expedited cases before the Delaware Court of Chancery. She began her career at another international law firm as an M&A and corporate associate, gaining experience that informs her approach to disputes involving deals and corporate governance.

Jenny is a graduate of Harvard Law School, University of Virginia, and Yale College. In law school, she earned the Irving Oberman Memorial Prize for Family Law, a Summer Academic Fellowship, and multiple Dean’s Scholar Prizes. Prior to law school, Jenny was a doctoral candidate in literature and an English teacher. Though she practices out of the New York office, Jenny is based in St. Louis, where she previously was an attorney in a high-stakes trial boutique. She also has lived and worked in Colorado.
