Jenny Braun is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation, as well as white collar and criminal matters. Before joining the firm, Jenny clerked for the Honorable Melissa Hart on the Colorado Supreme Court. She previously worked at a boutique criminal defense and civil litigation firm, and she also has experience in corporate transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Jenny graduated from Harvard Law School, where she earned the Irving Oberman Memorial Prize for Family Law, a Summer Academic Fellowship, and multiple Dean’s Scholar Prizes. During law school, she interned in the Federal Public Defender offices in Boston and Denver, in addition to both the appellate division and the capital litigation unit of the Colorado State Public Defender. She also wrote for a popular labor and employment law blog, was a member of Harvard Defenders and the Prison Legal Assistance Project, and served as a resident tutor in Eliot House at Harvard College. Prior to law school, Jenny was a doctoral candidate in English literature and an English teacher; she taught writing, rhetoric, and literature to students of all levels.
