Tea Fani is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Chicago office. She joined the firm in 2021.
Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. She has represented clients across multiple industries on a variety of litigations, including data privacy class actions, business torts, bankruptcy litigation, and environmental torts, at the trial and appellate levels.
Throughout her practice, Tea has also provided pro bono representation to indigent clients in civil, criminal, and immigration matters. As part of this work, she has helped obtain post-conviction relief for a wrongfully-convicted client, secured parole for two unjustly-sentenced individuals, and has assisted multiple clients with obtaining asylum.
Prior to joining the firm, Tea worked at another large law firm based in New York City. While attending Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, she worked at the Bluhm Legal Clinic’s Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth, where she represented juveniles seeking exoneration.
