  • Represented Sprint Spectrum, L.P. in a consumer class action based upon Sprint's practice of charging and collecting early termination fees.  After a four week jury trial, the jury found in favor of Sprint, concluding that the amount of money Sprint loses when subscribers terminate early exceeds the amount of early termination fees collected by Sprint.
  • Won a complete defense verdict for a local real estate developer in a fraud action where plaintiffs sought more than $200 million in back child support.
  • Won summary adjudication on behalf of Nextel South Corporation in a proposed consumer class action based upon Nextel's practice of charging and collecting early termination fees.
  • Represented Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc. in a proposed class action involving alleged violations of the Labor Code and California Business & Professions Code § 17200 based upon missed meal and rest breaks and unpaid overtime.  Class certification was denied and the case settled.
  • Represented Hollis-Eden Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in an ICDR (International Centre for Dispute Resolution) arbitration proceeding.  Prevailed on cross-claims that petitioner, an inventor, had breached various research and development agreements by conducting research in areas prohibited under the agreements.
  • Represented General Atomics Energy Services, Inc. in a AAA proceeding to recover costs attributable to respondent's negligence in causing the unplanned shutdown of a uranium hexafluoride production plant, which was jointly owned by the parties.  Prevailed on cross-claims for wrongful termination.
  • Won dismissal of a consumer class action on behalf of ConAgra Foods, Inc. based upon ConAgra labeling its Healthy Choice pasta sauce as "natural" and it contains high fructose corn syrup. 
  • Obtained a litigation cost settlement on behalf of The Parsons Corporation in a qui tam action brought by a former employee.
