Miranda Roberts Hulka is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Chicago office. She joined the firm in 2022. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. She also advises pro bono clients in civil and criminal contexts. Prior to joining the firm, Miranda clerked for the Honorable David L. Horan in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
During law school, Miranda served as Editor-in-Chief of the Northwestern Journal of Criminal Law & Criminology and piloted the creation of a new digital publication focused on amplifying the voices of those traditionally marginalized in legal scholarship. She also served as a student attorney in both the Center on Wrongful Convictions and MacArthur Justice Center Civil Rights Litigation Clinic where she helped secure the release of two clients wrongfully incarcerated for murder and represented clients pursuing postconviction appeals and civil rights claims. Miranda also served as a teaching assistant for Communications and Legal Reasoning and as the Director of Mentorship for the Women’s Leadership Coalition.
