Nicoletta Malogioglio is a senior associate in the Los Angeles office.
Nicoletta’s practice focuses on complex business litigation, including cross-border litigation involving billions of dollars’ worth of financial-fraud claims, white-collar defense, internal investigations, and cross-border criminal investigations, as well as trade secret, intellectual property, antitrust, competition, and tort matters.
Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Nicoletta has served as a stagiaire at the European Commission, Directorate General for Competition, where she analyzed EU Regulations and Directives on State Aid Policies and monitored European governments' compliance and intervention on competition and intracommunity trade.
Nicoletta earned her J.D. at the University L.U.I.S.S. G. Carli in Rome, Italy, where she graduated cum laude. Nicoletta started her career in Italy where she focused on civil cases, mainly contractual disputes and fraud cases.
Nicoletta has also earned a Master in European Law from the College of Europe of Bruges, Belgium, an LLM (Master of Laws) with focus on merger control from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and most recently, in February 2022, has completed a program on Alternative Investments at Harvard Business School (HBS) focusing on assessing, evaluating and identifying the risks of any such investments, including private equity, private debt, hedge funds and real estate.
Nicoletta is licensed to practice law in the State of California, and in Italy.
