James McSweeney is Of Counsel in Quinn Emanuel’s London office. His practice focuses on white collar crime and corporate investigations, complex commercial litigation and defamation. James has represented clients in matters before the English High Court (most frequently the Commercial Court) and appellate courts up to the Supreme Court, as well as the Competition Appeal Tribunal, Magistrates’ and Crown Courts, and the first-tier and upper tribunals
James has represented corporate and individual clients facing criminal, regulatory and administrative investigations and prosecutions brought domestically and internationally by all major law enforcement agencies. James has particular expertise in matters involving criminal and civil fraud, sanctions, contempt of court and private prosecutions.
James is a barrister admitted to the Bar of England and Wales.
