Elizabeth J. Murphy

Liz Murphy is Of Counsel in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office.  She specializes in patent litigation for clients in the life sciences and biotechnology industries, with a focus on Hatch-Waxman litigation.  Ms. Murphy has extensive trial experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial.  She has litigated in a variety of jurisdictions, including the District of Delaware, the District of New Jersey, and the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.  Ms. Murphy also has significant appellate experience, having briefed numerous cases on appeal and argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
