Brantley Pepperman is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Los Angeles office. Brantley represents both plaintiffs and defendants in antitrust, class action, and other complex litigation. He has been named a “Rising Star” in antitrust litigation by Super Lawyers, serves as a member of the technology platforms working group advising the California Law Revision Commission regarding possible amendments to California’s antitrust and unfair competition laws, and is a regular contributor to the annual California State Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law treatise. Brantley first joined the firm in 2018 and previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Christina A. Snyder of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Brantley earned his law degree from Loyola Law School and his bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Southern California. During law school, he was a Developments editor of the Loyola Law Review, Los Angeles, a member of the nationally-renowned Scott Moot Court team, a law clerk for the Antitrust Law Section of the California Attorney General’s Office, and a judicial extern for the Honorable Harry Pregerson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and for the Honorable Dolly M. Gee of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Brantley is a member of the bars of both California and the District of Columbia.
